April 18, 2019 Chinese Academy of Science and Education Evaluation (CASEE) at Hangzhou Dianzi University signed the Framework Agreement with Canada Research Chair on The Transformations of Scholarly Communication (CRC) at Université de Montréal for international collaboration on April 18. Prof. Junping Qiu, Dean of CASEE and Prof. Vincent Larivière, Director of CRC attended the signing ceremony in Hangzhou Dianzi University Xiasha campus and signed the Framework Agreement.

Prof. Cassidy R. Sugimoto, President of the International Society for Scientometrics and Informetrics (ISSI), Prof. Dawei Liu, Associate Dean of School of Management at Hangzhou Dianzi University as well as other staff and students of CASEE witnessed this moment together.

According to the Framework Agreement, both parties will jointly build a new research center, the International Scientometric Evaluation Research Center (ISERC) and carry out some comparative studies on Informetrics and scientific evaluation. The propose collaboration includes: encourage the professors and students to visit and exchange each other; exchange of scientific and scientific-methodical literature, publish co-authored scientific articles, and conduct joint scientific consultations; exchange of work experience and information on methodical training of qualified specialists; mutual invitation of professors and scholars to conferences, seminars, scientific symposiums; facilitate each other to obtain the visa as well as other documents; exchange of work experience and research on computerization of educational process, and so on.

The new Framework Agreement will be valid for a period of three (3) years from April 2019 to March 2022.
